Does anyone else agree? This man (or woman) must have LMS. Little Man Syndrome. Everytime he (she) posts, its negative and schitty.
If its possible, I would delete all the posts from this a$$hole, too. The only reason I like to read those posts is because I need a laugh during the day.
Mr. Know-It-All should form his own dam club and see who posts or joins, yeah nobody would after discussing anything with that H-MO.

Billybob, Andrew, or whomever you may be, you seem to have an identity crisis for one, and a lack of respect for people like Mark that maintain this site, and a lack of respect for everyone.
A little jazzing or painless rips on people, their comments, or on their ideas is ok every once in a while, but not on every post that hits the forum.
Maybe there are a few Billybobs or whomever is doing it, but some of the posts are simply rude and unwanted.

Great, I just got home from a week long hunting trip, only to find out I have been dragged back into this crap again. First off billybob, I am a boy. At only 19 years old, I still have alot to learn and experience. For all those who still think I and billybob are the same, there isnt much I can say except we arent. Did you see any? Last fall, I was out foxhunting and a huge black male came out of the woods about fifty feet away from us. It was incredibly fast. Some of our horses are thoroughbreds and we couldn't get near it. It must've been downwind because the horses didn't spook, we had to chase him for two hours to get the hounds back. Fortunately, he got away, and none of the hounds was hurt. It was an unforgettable sight!

I personally didnt see any alive. the hounds we were using couldnt keep the track due to the terrible conditions. Two others in our group who went out with other guys and dogs each got one. One was about 350lbs. dressed out and was jet black. That was a very beutiful bear but due to a poorly placed shot, it isnt suitable for a half mount or rug. He will just have the pelt tanned. The other guy got one that was about 250lbs. dressed and was like most of the bears here in California. It was a light brown color with not so thick hair. I helped skin both out, and it was quite the greasy chore, kind of like lubing my Dak.

You can hunt in California? I thought a few years ago they outlawed hunting in that state???? I remember seeing an article in Field and Stream that talked about how hunting was being threatened and probably outlawed, and that is all I've heard.

Tigerdak, I can see where they would say california hunting is in danger, there are ALOT of idiots out here that would like to see it come to an end. The only hunting that they got banned is mountain lion hunting and that was some time ago. Lately, they passed a bill that bans some types of traps.
Lesley, California has some of the biggest black bears as anywhere and they are extremely plentiful. In the way of big game hunting, we have blacktail and some mule deer, black bear, and wild pig hunting. For wild pig, you will be hard pressed to find any better than here in the golden state. So to your original statement, the bear hunting in Ca is awsome! I can see where you would think that way about California. All that stuff like palm trees, barbie dolls, etc. is along the coast and down south. The further north you go, the better it gets. I personaly prefer the north and east side of california. The sierras are just plain beutiful. Also, the further north you go, the more normal the people get.

It sounds nice! I'm glad they banned mountain lion hunting, they are far too beautiful to kill, however there are places in Canada where they have become a danger. As far as bear go, they banned the spring hunt, a very controversial decision. Bear have become really plentiful as a result, they have been known to take down calves at nearby farms, and last week there was one wandering around a subdivision not far from where I work.
As far as traps go, they give me the willies. Last year one of our hunt's hounds got his neck caught in one, it took three people to get him out and he almost died. It was a horrible sight. I can't imagine wild pigs! I'm pretty sure we don't have them here, although with overall changes in climate we are starting to get possums and wolverines, so who knows.

I wouldnt mind all that much if they brought back mountain lion hunting. True, they are beutiful, but a while back, a woman who was jogging was killed and eaten out on the trail and it had something to do with the fact she was on her period. They are a common sight in retirement villas and on golf courses here. In N. California, when a dog or cat gets nabbed of the back porch by a lion, people dont even consider it weird or uncommon. There are definantl an abundance of them here.

I guess I originally got defensive around you because of some statements I read that you directed at Mark. I do not know him one bit, but his work and time is appreciated.
If he wants to delete a post on the forum, its his call. He manages the thing and should have a right to say what can and cannot be posted. For all of us, this forum is a privilege, not a right.
