Subject: Looking For some good club names!!!
IP: Logged

Message:
Guys some of my friends ad I are starting up a club and are having a hard time coming up with a name...now before you get some ideas I want to let you know that we allow other trucks in the club other the dodge so long as they know we're the mayor LOL... but the only rule we have is it has to be lowered... whether it be 1 inch or on bags we are wanting to get an organization going here in the STL area... and have meets and such to show off the trucks. We also work in conjunction with The Land of Giants Truck Club, and we are hoping to do the same gist of raising money for St. Jude Childrens Hospital. So with that said let the name calling begin.....LOL

oh man is this a good topic for me. my friends and i started a car and truck club last year and it took us about 6 months to agree on a name, actually we agreed 3 times and then changed it before settling on our current name, Coalition, because its a coalition of different people with different types of rides.
if u have to be lowered then use that in ur name.
ill throw out some names u can use but i think their all already taken but u can use as examples- lowered expectations, ground zero, down to earth, pavement pounding, landscrapers, anything with the word lower, low, lowered, etc in it, also check out streetsourcemag.com they have thousands of clubs listed and u can use their names as examples. try this

http://streetsourcemag.com/clubs/default.aspx?Count=100&Letter=C

the problem my club ran into is that any name u think of will sound gay, until u compare it to other club names and realize their all gay, and the name doesnt matter, cause if the trucks are cool then the name is cool
whew i wrote a lot hope that helps
P.S. consider a club logo when thinking of a name
heres our logo on my friends camaro

It's the feeling of belonging to something mostly. And a lot of clubs will get sponsors to give the price discounts for merchandise. Shops won't do that with individuals too often, but a club, they will because they can expect everyone in the club to buy from them so they get more business.

Thanks for all your input guys basicly the reason we are doing this is to get some people involved and to have a good time and yes HSKR is correct its alot easier to get sponsors for events and such with a club.

blakdak01- we have a lifted truck club around here named High Expectations, I'm kinda liking the Low Expectations...LOL

yea the point of a club is unity and what my club does is have meets at someones house all day and talk and work on each others cars, ive never paid for installation on anything on my truck because im with a group who as a whole know how to install basically anything, the point of a club is to meet with friends and have fun

btw i think low expectations is taken, look at the link i gave in my first post to the club names, i see low expectations and lowered xpectations, so maybe urs could be lowered expectations or low xpectations if u tweak the spelling a bit, just a thought
good luck

There's a club here that has the coolest name: Pebble Pushers. I love it! There's also Acrophobia (fear of heights). Me and a couple of friends are starting Carolina Customs, but I doubt that will work for you :)
