Message: I have just leveled my 2006 dodge dakota quad cab slt 4x4 and found both lower ball joints were bad. It was still under warranty, but now I am concerned about my safety in the future. Has any one else had the same problem? My truck has only 32,000 miles on it with minimal off road use... please reply. Also I am interested in if any one has got any tire suggestions, I am looking at general grabber at2 tires, they look a lot like the bf goodrich atko tires...

Message: Look retard, the problem was fixed before 06. Quit playing maintenance man and just take it to the shop. I can't believe I just wasted time typing this to a retard like you. Go away and when you reach 18 and are not driving mommy and daddy's truck then you can come back. Go back and wait for the short bus to take you to school now.
BTW if you are under 10 do you want to date?

Message: Hey texas todd, maybe there was a problem that was fixed with dakotas before 2005 that got fixed. But when you only have 32,000 miles on your truck, your ball joints should not be bad all ready. I owned a chevy for 200,000 miles with a 4 inch lift and the ball joints were fine the day I sold it. I have heard from other 06 and above dakotas that have gone bad with in 12000 miles... IF you have nothing to say that will be of help, why dont you just keep your pie hole shut.....

Message: My 2005 had one set of ball joints replaced last fall & was told the others were loose. OK, ignorant woman here, didn't realize something like that would be covered by warranty. Was under 30,000 and 3 yrs.....now 3 1/2 yrs and 44,000 miles and am going to try to get Dodge to cover it. Anyone had luck with em after warranty?

Why , many advances in materials have been made..
Must be cheaping out on us, instead of improving.

Message: I have a 2006 Dodge Dakota that I had to put in the shop today. Come to find out my upper and lower ball joints on both sides have to be replaced. It seems to me from what I have found on the internet this needs to be a recall issue.
