UPDATE :
I have had my system up for awhile now (sorry for not posting eariler) and I am VERY pleased with the sound. I have 2 Orion XTR DVC 10's in there and they fit with NO problems, no spacers or anything. It actually sounds better than the ported box that was MADE by orion for these subs.
I bought my box used and had to supply the wire and I used LA 12 gauge speaker wire. I am running 2 orion HCCA 225 amps, orion csx 200 crossover, orion 300 prq EQ , orion deq30, orion mbr 70, and all LA wire with orion terminations. All fed from a jvc el kamelion voice activated deck lx-50 <
The next thing is a custom crafted center console with 10.4" tft lcd fed by a PII computer w/dvd.
Amps + electronics will be mounted in the center under tinted plexiglass with neon inside so you can see everything when turned on, but looks black when off (like the deck), painted metallic silver to match the future racing stripes. Should be completed within a month. Allready built, have all parts except plexi and neon, just need to find someone local to paint it (I'm a crappy painter and a perfectionist, bad combo). Any virginia painters out here ....?
Also just finished installing orion nt 6s seperates in the doors, no amp except the factory infinity. (too much deck power + the factory amp blew the infinitys) Sounds awesome, looks great (real carbon fiber cones). Just need a cap and new rear speakers and I'll be done with my system.

Hey guys who love JL audio and want to put the 10W0s in the box, try seeing if you or some one with a blowen sub use the foam around it and use it as a O-ring it works really good I hooked them up to my computer that has a small amp for the speakers thats around 125w, don't use the foam thats around the cone.Now "I" need to know what would be a good amp lol, If any one wants pics email me I'll be happy to show and tell. ;)

You can buy any subs that you want. Polyfill the box and mount the subs backwards with the magnet facing outwards...

I have tried about every sub that will fit in these boxes . The jlwos fit with some extra weatherstrip . Sound like poo thou .RF cheapies is all that fits no other will . CDT mini box wont fit at all to big around the top Kicker comp vrs thuddy, load , Need to trim box. Orion xtrs Just OK not impressed with sound at all . Fit perfect thou . Cerwin vega it-10 fit good sound good not bad for the money !! Image Dyanmics definatly best of best for the box . IDQ and IDQ v.2s fit perfect no trimming required and absolutly pound and sound amazing !
